Project Title: Reducing Child Poverty through the promotion of children’s active citizenship (FPN Round 2)
Location: 35 communes, 6 districts in Siem Reap and Thbong Khmum provinces (4 districts: Angkor Chum, Srei Snam, Angkor Thom and Banteay Srei in Siem Reap province and 2 districts: Ponhea Krek and Dambae in Thbong Khmum province)
Duration : Between 2015 to 2019
Project Participants: 35 Commune Committee for Women and Children with 1,516 members; 35 Commune Child and Youth Clubs with 1492 members; 70 Commune Closed Groups (intimate partner violence) with 2,516 members; 140 Village Community Based Children and Family Protection Mechanism (CBCPM) with 4,220 members; and 162 Community legal counsellors
Key Stakeholders: Village Health Support Group (VHSG), Community Pre-school, focal point for village safety, Commune Chiefs, village chiefs, deputy-village chiefs, CCWCs, Polices, DWCCC, PWCCC, NCCT, CSOs and NGO partner, Social Service of Cambodia (SSC) that has a recognized expertise in building capacity of Community Social Workers (CSWs)
